The educationist Dr. Pratibha Kohli (School Principal) delivered an eye-opening session on STEAM Labs at EduTech Asia, Singapore during November 2019. The international conference brought to fore her competency in technology.

To get a better understanding of the educational system in Germany, Max Mueller Bhavan invited Dr Pratibha Kohli for a Principal’s tour from South Asia to visit Germany from November 17 to 23, 2019. During the tour, she visited various schools in Berlin and Bremen to get an overview of the educational practices in Germany. E2 2019 - Educator Sum


Ms. Chandni Agarwal represented India and Maharaja Agrasen Model School at the fifth annual Microsoft Education Exchange 2019 which was held at Paris from April 2 – April 4 2019 . It was a gala event organised by Microsoft for educators using technology and acting as Change makers. The event was based on theme Be the Change maker and attended by over 300 educators from 100 countries. She got an immense learning experience at this mega event as it gave her great opportunity to foster collaborations at an international level to enhance classroom teaching-learning. She also won the Team Challenge as First runner up under the Inclusion category and recognised for the same. She also got the opportunity to attend various keynote and training sessions on using Microsoft Tools and making learning better for students. She also qualified the Microsoft Certified Educator Certification exam. The highlight of the event was the Learning Marketplace where educators from all over the world got an opportunity to highlight and share their learning activities. The learning activity highlighted by Chandni Agarwal was the 'Flight to Inclusive Classroom' which emphasized upon the use of Microsoft tools for diversified learners and based on UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 which aims to ensure equitable and accessible education to all. She met several educators around the globe and learnt new ways to integrate technology in classroom teaching. She emphasized that it is important to foster 21 Century Learning and life skills in the students to meet the International dimensions for the holistic development of students.

These technology tools can be well integrated into the classroom and can immensely benefit the learners. The highlight of the event was the LearningMarketplace where educators from all over the world got an opportunity to highlight and share their learning activities. This led to an exchange of innovative ideas and proved to be an immense learning experience for all educators. The learning activity highlighted by Principal Pratibha Kohli was the 'Green Energy' which emphasized upon the use of renewable energy sources for a sustainable future and was based on UN Sustainable Development Goal 7 which aims to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all. Another highlight of the Education Exchange was the Technology Showcase which enabled her to get hands-on experience with some latest technologies like Microbit. Meeting several educators from around the globe was indeed an enriching experience and surely has helped her incorporate better and improvised use of ICT tools in the school environment. Harshit Gupta of class XII bagged the first position in International Informatics Olympiad -2017 in level 2 organised by Silverzone foundation and has won cash prize for notching the top position. He has shown excellence in the Information Technology field and brought glory to school.MAMSIANS brought laurels and accolades to school by participating in the International Informatics Olympiad (iiO) Level 2 : 2017 competing with their counter parts from India and abroad despite their early ages and curved a niche for them-selves in the above Olympiad. 24 students participated for Level 2 . Esha Goel of class XI B got state Rank 3 and Nilesh Pant of class 5 got state rank 4 in the above Olympiad.

Anirudh Gupta of class XII bagged the first position in International Informatics Olympiad -2015in level 2 organised by Silverzone foundation and has won cash prize for notching the top position. Anirudh has been studying in the school since LKG and since then brilliance has been his way of life. He has shown excellence in the Information Technology field and brought glory to school.Thirty one students from MAMS qualified for the second level and secured prestigious ranks at International and state levels.The line of victors comprises- PRATEEK BANSAL who secured 7th position followed by SAGAR BANSAL who reserved 9th rank and ANKIT AGGARWAL and BIPIN KALRA placed themselves at position 13. ROHAN SETHI grabbed the 15th position and made the school proud.


India Champion Rohan Sethi participated in Compudon Season V and was selected as India Champion in Microsoft Office Excel 2010 Specialist India Championship powered by COMPUDON. The whiz kid bagged the coveted Silver medal for India at the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship 2015COMPUDON Season V on August 12, 2015 in Dallas, Texas (USA) where over 400,000 students from 143 countries participated in this worldwide competition. He was awarded with a $2,500 scholarship during the glittering award ceremony at Gaylord Texan Resort in Dallas,Texas (USA) by Certiport, a Pearson VUE business, the leading test delivery solution provider for the global workforce and academic markets. The appreciable performance of the Mamsians has been praiseworthy for many years. Rohan has been studying in MAMS since LKG. The bright Mamsian secured CGPA 10 in class tenth. He represented India in the USA in this worldwide platform and his victory has made him evolve as a confident Mamsian ready to take an eagle’s flight in his life.




The portals of Maharaja Agrasen Model School, Pitampura were abuzz with activity on February 3, 2015 as the school welcomed 26 Chinese students along with two teachers and Principal of Experimental School of Capital Normal University, Beijing as part of the Cultural Exchange Program which aims to integrate international dimensions and global perspectives in the school curriculum. Reflecting the quintessential aspect of the Indian tradition ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’, the school band Octave welcomed the guests with aplomb. A cultural fiesta was put up by the host school which commenced with prayer offerings to the Almighty and was followed by the Principal Mrs. Pratibha Kohli’s speech to accord a warm welcome. The Principal of the guest school Mr Lin Hui in his speech expressed elation in being a part of the global teaching-learning paradigm and aspirations of prudent learning outcomes which would cater to global needs. Inspired by the guest’s speech, the effervescent angels of the host school showcased the rich Chinese culture in Ethnic Vibes- A Dragon delight from China. The rhythmic moves of Flamesenser the great dragon and fleeting footsteps of the dancers left the audience enthralled. The riot colors of the Japanese costumes and the maneuvering wrists of the fan-dancers presented a picturesque sight when Fantastic Fanfare- Myriad Hues of Japan appeared on the stage. The patriotic Indian culture was also highlighted with the rendition of soulful patriotic songs. The guest school too offered a delightful array of presentations comprising of rope-dance and gymnastics. The Mamsians interacted with their Chinese friends and gained insights into the profound Chinese culture. The guests were felicitated with mementos as a token of fond remembrance. The program provided the students a unique experience and enabled them to adeptly face the challenges of the global era.




The whiz kids of Maharaja Agrasen Model School Pitampura, Arjit Kansal and Shashank Batra, participated in the 14th Microsoft World Championship organised by Certiport at Disneyland, USA, wherein 136 finalists from several countries competed in the world championship and worked tirelessly to earn the most coveted title. Arjit Kansal and Shashank Batra of Maharaja Agrasen Model School, Pitampura became the Indian finalists for PowerPoint2010 and Excel 2007 respectively and represented India at the world finals in California. Ms. Chandni Aggarwal( HOD,IT Department) also accompanied the champs Arjit Kansal and Shashank Batra for their final competition as their mentor. Arjit Kansal who joined Maharaja Agrasen Model School in L.K.G became the first Indian to win the gold medal,$5000 as scholarship and a Surface Pro-3 besides trophies in PowerPoint 2010 competition while Shashank Batra who joined school in class 1, won a silver medal in Microsoft Excel 2007 and received $2500 scholarship and X-box One . Both of them won the global acclaim thus making Maharaja Agrasen Model School as well as India proud. Their stay in California gave them an opportunity to socialize with like �minded students from different countries. The Principal Ms. Pratibha Kohli appreciated the world champions who won laurels to Maharaja Agrasen Model School and INDIA at large. It was a great learning and phenomenal experience for them that amplified their persona thereby giving them an edge to face challenges at an intricate level with great mental fortitude and far sightedness.

Certiport organized the 13th Microsoft Office World Championship this year and attracted more than 344,000 contestants from 90 countries all over the world who competed to demonstrate their expertise in Microsoft Office products. There were 100 finalists who then struggled to earn the most coveted title for which the finale took place at Washington DC, USA from July 31st - August 3rd. Anmol Garg of class X was named as India Champion in the Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 and represented India in the Ecumenical Event and proved himself worthy of receiving Merit Certificate for placing himself at 5th Position worldwide. It was a great learning & phenomenal experience for him to compete at the international level which also provided him an opportunity to socialize with like - minded people from different countries. It certainly embellished his persona thereby giving him an edge to face challenges at an intricate level with a great mental fortitude & far - sightedness.




The competition Over its 60 year history, WorldSkills International (formerly known as the "Skill Olympics") has come to symbolise the pinnacle of excellence in vocational training. Every two years hundreds of young skilled people, accompanied by their teachers and trainers, gather together from around the world to compete before the public in the skills of their various trades and test themselves against demanding international standards. They represent the best of their peers drawn from regional and national skill competitions held currently in 67 countries/regions. The week-long celebration from 30th June to 7th July and showcase of skills brought together the finest young professionals in skilled trades and technologies from 52 Member countries/regions. Approximately 1,000 Competitors in 46 skills, ranging from IT Software Solutions for Business to CNC Turning, vied for the gold medals and awards over four days of Competition. The roar of an enthused international crowd filled the arena with every medal announcement. Total number of people in attendance for the event, including the Competition, Opening, and Closing Ceremonies was close to 200,000. With over 1,000 accredited media. Short Piece on his Journey to WSC 2013 - Sarthak Jain participated in the skill of IT Software Solutions for Business. It was a great surprise to him to see an event organized on such a grand scale, which while intimidating on its own also empowered him even more to win. From there on, he put in blood and bone to give his best in his competition, along with enjoying the city during numerous excursions. WSC 2013 was a great platform for him to know, learn and connect with people from different countries, cultures and races. This journey helped to him to interact with people who share similar passion for IT as Sarthak, while providing a means to create lifelong friendships. Over the period of four days of competition, I observed that he gave his best to win this competition both during and in after hours at hotel. Scoring over 500 in his test, Sarthak won the coveted Medallion of Excellence in IT, one of the first ones to be won by our country ever. It was a great learning experience for him. Global Skills Challenge - To prepare for the WSC 2013, NSDC (the organization conducting selections for WSC in India) sponsored Sarthak to participate in Global skills challenge held in Perth, Australia in month of May. Being held between April 30th and May 4th, the four day event simulated the conditions which were to be experienced by competitors in Germany and provide them with a valuable opportunity to gather as a team and hone their skills against competitors from other countries.The GSC provided a fantastic opportunity for Sarthak to witness the competition in action as he prepare for the 42nd WorldSkills International Competition taking place in Leipzig, Germany from July 2nd � 7th, 2013.


It is a proud moment for our school that Sarthak Jain, one of our 12th class students got an opportunity to attend Global Skills Challenge which was held in Perth, Australia from 28th April'2013 to 4th May 2013. This competition is designed to help prepare the competitors for World Skills International Competition in Leipzig Germany , to be held in month oj July and provide a simulated environment of the same. Competitors from 12 Countries had participated in this competition in total of 22 skills ,including IT Sotware solutions for Business in which Sarthak competed. It had been a great learning experience for him and a chance to socialize with like-minded people from around the world.

MAMSIANS once again proved their skills in Microsft Compudon Season III and won the title of NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP for Microsoft Excel 2010 and Microsoft Powerpoint 2007. Mr. Pankaj Rai CEO and Microsoft Officials gave away the prizes to winners at the Awrad Ceremony held at Stein Auditorium , India Habitat Centre on June 15,2013. Thousands of Students from all over India participated in the competition and showcased the office skills. 39 MAMSians were the finalists and were awarded with a Gold medal and prize. Anmol Garg of class X won the Title of National Champion for Microsoft Powerpoint 2007 and will go to Washington DC, USA for competing at World wide level. Ketan Mahajan of class XI won the Title of National Champion for Microsoft Excel 2010. Both were awarded with a Samsung laptop and Nokia Lumia mobile phone. Moksh Garg of class IX announced as First Runnerup for Microsoft Powerpoint 2010 and won a Samsung Laptop and a Medal. Mrs. Chandni Agarwal (PGT Computer Science) recieved School/Faculty award for the Applications Microsoft Powerpoint 2007 and Excel 2010.

‘Cultural Exchange Programmes generate harmony, brotherhood and knowledge’. Maharaja Agrasen Model School, Pitam Pura hosted a team of 5 teachers and 20 students from The Experimental School of Beijing, China under the partnership program of UNESCO. The delegation received a warm welcome from the school and the Principal Mrs. Pratibha Kohli. Mr. D.Bhatnagar, the Secretary General of Confederation of UNESCO club and Mr. S. C. Anand, member, Advisory Board of CUCAI addressed our students. Mesmerizing Fan dance, a folk dance- Bihu and the classical dance- Bharatnatyam presented by students of our school enthralled the audience as it depicted the richness of our cultural heritage. The cultural extravaganza presented by Chinese students in the form of a dance, magic show and instrumental music was applauded by everyone. Mr. Ethan, a teacher from China thanked the school for giving them a warm reception and initiating for promoting exchange of ideas to abridge differences in this era of globalization. Students enjoyed and it was a good learning experience for them.




In one of the most prestigious competition called COMPUDON held nation wide, the Mamsians again proved their mettle by showcasing their expert skills using Microsoft Office tools. Students from all the states of India were invited to compete for the title of �India Champion�. Sarthak Jain,Shashank Batra and Bipin Kalra were Indian Champions for the Microsoft Office Applications. Bipin Kalra represented India at LAS VEGAS , USA on August 1,2012 and won Bronze Medal for securing third position in the competition for Microsoft Powerpoint 2007.




The School Principal Ms. Pratibha Kohli welcomed Mr. Pankaj Rai, Director and CEO India Cyberlearning Private Limited and Mr. K. Narayanan, Academic Cyberlearning. She extended her gratitude to both the esteemed guests for the contribution to the field of e-Learning. In a slide presentation showcasing the history of Compudon, the audience were made aware about the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship-a platform in which the students of MAMS excelled in the usage of Microsoft Office applications. In the award function Mr. Abhishek Kumar, Coordinator felicitated winners of the Compudon championship who are Bipin Kalra, Brijesh Gupta, Sarthak Jain, Anmol Garg, Kapil Goel, Shubham Jain and Shubham Gupta.He also showed the audience the photographs of the students who visited San Diego and Las Vegas in 2011 and 2012 respectively. Mr. Pankaj Rai CEO appreciated the Principal Ms. Pratibha Kohli and the Computer Department for their contribution in motivating and preparing children to handle the different levels of the competition.The school received a certificate of honour for the excellent performance of its students in Compudon Season II. In his address to the audience Mr. Pankaj Rai urged the children to participate in such competitions which not only test their skills in e-Learning but also provide them a bigger platform to show their talent. Ms. Chandni Aggarwal (PGT Comp. Science) proposed the Vote of Thanks and the ceremony came to an end with a gala celebration.

Anima Halwe, student of class X gave a stupendous performance in Creative Writing Contest in German language that won her a trip to Munich from June 3, 2012 to June 23, 2012. The competition was organized by Max Mueller Bhavan, an institution of the Federal Republic of Germany, New Delhi. During her stay in Germany, she had plenty of occasions to interact with the people who belong to the nation which is known worldwide for its exuberance & ancient civilization. She had an enriching experience of visiting places which are a valuable part of its heritage & legacy.



Himanshi Jain of class XI is selected by CBSE for Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) Programme which is expected to deepen mutual understanding among young people who will assume important roles in the next generation in each East Asia country.
