Dr Pratibha Kohli was awarded for the innovative project - "Inculcation of Environmental Awareness and Environmental Ethics among students to conserve the environment through low cost and innovative projects and activities" under the National Awards for Innovative Practices and Experiments in Education for Schools and Teacher Education Institutions: during the National Seminar 2018-19. The National Seminar was, held on July 25 & 26, 2019, at NCERT, New Delhi.

Ms. Chandni Agarwal got the opportunity to present her work on innovative techniques & tools of ICT at National ICT Award 2019 Ceremony in the presence of Mr. Sanjay Dhotre - State Minster HRD at the event.

Ms. Chandni Agarwal got an opportunity to address at National Level Webinar on Organising Digital Resources using Wakelet as a tool organized by CIET-NCERT for enhancing skills for using tools in remote-learning on 13 April , 2020




Mamsians got proud privilege to attend Young Innovators Summit and to witness Mr Satya Nadella, CEO Microsoft on 26th Feb, 2020 scheduled at Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre. MAMS won the "Microsoft Minecraft Challenge" wherein the students created a smart sustainable village "AGRI SMART" with the proposed smart solutions of farming using technology under the mentorship of Ms. Chandni Agarwal. They were selected to present the idea of smart village which can be made sustainable using technology. The students were Miss Siddhi Jindal (Grade 9) , Master Anuj Garg (Grade 9) , Master Anshit Mittal(Grade 11) , Master Raghav Saini (Grade 11). It is indeed a great and enriched learning experience for Mamsians, who witnessed live session of Mr. Satya Nadella. The live session was about how to consume technology and use coding like music. Also , a wonderful workshop was taken up by Mr. Phanni on Artificial Intellegence.


Ms. Mala Sharma, VP & GM Creative Cloud, Product Marketing at Adobe graced the school with her benign presence on February 28, 2020. She visited the ATL lab where the young technocrats showcased their innovations. The budding creators exhibited their creative skills using Adobe Spark, The presentations of the students were encouraged and well appreciated by the eminent epitome of excellence.

Ms. Chandni Agarwal, PGT Computer Science attended two days event organised by Microsoft India with team of students at West-In , Gurugram on November 21 and 22 , 2019. The event was organised to empower students with future-ready skills, Microsoft rolled out its K12 Education Transformation Framework. Teachers and students from schools across India, also demonstrated the innovative ways in which they are digitally transforming education by bringing in AI, gamification, personalization and simplifying STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) learning for students. Our school team OgVetrans won the Team Trophy for Minecraft Next Gen Challenge 2019 being the Winner of the challenge under the mentorship of Ms. Chandni Agarwal. The team members - Raghav Saini – XI B , Ojasvi Jindal and Anshit Mittal from XI A , Siddhi Jindal and Anuj Garg from IX B , created a project Agrismart , a prototype that offers smart farming solution to farmers. It was developed using various tools like Minecraft World and OneNote. The solution incorporates autonomous robotics into agriculture to increase efficiency, product yield & quality, and create connected farming using sensors, drones and IoT. Ms. Chandni Agarwal , selected amomgst top educators from India to work upon a collaborative project with 6 other teachers from India. and presented project on Simplifying the Complexity in Learning using Gamification by incorporating 21 st Century learning skills and making use of MS Tools. Dignitaries , Mr. Biswajeet Saha Director – CBSE Vocational & Education Skills , Mr. R.P.Singh Joint Secretary (Skill Education) , Larry Nelson, Regional General Manager-Education, Microsoft Asia and Manish Prakash, Country General Manager-Public Sector, Health and Education, Microsoft India graced the event. It further recognized the efforts of schools on the usage of technology in day-to-day classrooms to enable the next-level collaboration. Using Microsoft tools students were able to enhance their critical thinking, problem solving, self-management and responsible decision-making skills. It was indeed a great learning experience for students and educators.




Maharaja Agrasen Model School, Pitampura celebrated its Annual Day with great exuberance on December 7,2019. The day was reserved for a gala presentation. The Chief Guest for the day was Dr. Nand Kishore Garg, Chancellor, Maharaja Agrasen University and Mr. Tilakraj Garg, Leader of the House, North Delhi Municipal Corporation was the Guest of Honour. The ceremonial lamp was lighted by the honourable Chief Guest ,esteemed Guest of Honour ,revered Members of the Management, the Principal, Vice Principal and other eminent guests. The program titled `Sarve Bhavantu Sukhina' commenced with a scintillating dance performance Swastir Bhavtu-`Ganesh Stuti' invoking the Almighty to guard us against ignorance and spread the spark of knowledge. The school Principal Dr. Pratibha Kohli in her welcome speech expressed gratitude to the august gathering for motivating the students by their presence. The school annual report was presented by the Head Boy –Chayan Khaitan and Head Girl- Akshita. The presentation of the play 'Quest for Peace' based on the philosophy and teachings of Lord Buddha showcased man's yearning for peace and quietude. The young Mamsians brought to life the importance of peace and tranquillity in one's life which was applauded by one and all. The ballad ''Shanti ke prateek Bapu'' highlighted Bapu as a messenger of brotherhood and harmony. The enthralling ballad mesmerised the audience as all celebrated BAPU-the apostle ,a missionary , a messenger ,an evangelist and a pioneer of peace. Khadi costumes added to the glorious performance of the students. 'Anandotsav' a dance portraying the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan spell bound the audience thus transporting them to the land of colours, valour and life. The programme 'Swachhata se Swasthay'- a combination of plogging with picking of litter for the resurgence of the environs spread the message of the importance of good health and cleanliness in the building of a strong nation. Mamsians paid homage to BAPU by making education for life meaningful thus spreading the mission Swacchata hi seva hai. The grand finale ' Sarve Bhavantu Sukhina' a citation note of the extravaganza raised hands in prayer to the almighty to spread the message of peace in the world. The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour gave the prizes to the meritorious students who had excelled in academics and various competitions held at School, District, State, National and International Level. The Chief Guest Dr.Nand Kishore Garg addressed the gathering and complimented the students for their excellent performance. The Chief Guest, in his speech expressed appreciation for the laudable efforts of the Principal Dr.Pratibha Kohli, and her team for presenting such a marvelous show. He urged the students to hone their talents and potentials to not only carve a niche for themselves and bring laurels to school but also aim to bring glory to the nation. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice Principal Ms. Simmi Bhatia. The programme culminated with the National Anthem.

After the results of 1st round, our school was selected among the top 5 schools all over India from 700+ participating schools, and got a chance to showcase their project at a two days (19.11.19 & 20.11.19) 'EduDays' event held at 'Westin Hotel, Gurgaon'. There our team had achieved the first position and felicitated with a team cup. We also showcased our project in front of National educators, NCERT chief and President of Microsoft India. Maharaja Agrasen Model School paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi – the father of the nation, when the celebration of his 150th birth anniversary commenced with conduction of the special assembly wherein the students commemorated the saint with great reverence, veneration and affection. The assembly saw the chanting of his favourite bhajans and a skit highlighting the life of the apostle of peace. The students visited an exhibition MEMORIES OF THE MAHATMA in the school corridors. The school zestfully organized a campaign as per the endeavour for the environment initiated by the Prime Minister of India-FIT INDIA PLOG RUN on October 2,2019 to mark the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. The revered principal Dr. Pratibha Kohli, vice principal Ms. Simmi Bhatia, teachers and a team of 25 students from classes IV to XI participated in the campaign which aimed to run for nearly two kilometres carrying a litter bag thereby garnering two fold benefit that is running for health as well as cleaning the surroundings being the sensitive stewards of the planet. The campaign echoed the Prime Minister’s Swachhata Abhiyan giving it a new dimension. The principal in her address to the team motivated the runners to understand their role in the conservation of the environment and the importance of being fitter, healthier and happier.

On August 28, 2019 our school, Maharaja Agrasen Model School took a step forward to conserve environment, spread awareness and enhance knowledge of students by organizing mind-boggling quiz on the topics of Agriculture, Conservation, Fuels, transport and Communication, Technology, Health, General Studies and other categories. Fifty three inquisitive- bright minds were enrolled for the PCRA Quiz. Everyone performed quite well and answered the questions with enthusiasm and self- confidence. But, the competitive rule is that, "Only the Best wins." Preeti Goyal of class IX D and Prajwal Singh of class VIII D brought laurels to the school and would be representing the school at District level.


MAMSIANS proved their mettle once again at Compudon Season 9, Microsoft Office Specialist Exam & Competition organised by Cyber learning India. Thousands of students participated for level 1 and compete for level2 from all over the country. Nine out of Nine mamsians were qualified for level 2. In level2 shortlisted students competed for the title of National Championship and other titles. Harshit Gupta, Anuj Garg and Avirudh Singhal (Excel 2016) , Keshav Goel , Vishal, Darpan for Excel 2013 , Vansh Kalra and Vanya for Word 13 and 16 respectively whereas Siddhi Jindal participated for PowerPoint 16. Avirudh Singhal secured the position of first runner up for excel 16 , Harshit Gupta bagged second runner up position for Excel 13 whereas Keshav goyal and Vansh Kalra got consolation prize for excel 16 and word 13 respectively. All participants received certificate and medal for India finalist. Prize distribution ceremony held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Satya Sai Auditorium.
