Wokshop on ‘Career Counseling’ was conducted in the school premises on 22nd Aug,2007 from 9.30 a.m to 10.30a.m. The resource person Dr. Sanjeev Arora from H.T enlivened the session by involving the students in the discussion related to the topic. He suggested students to make a careful analysis of their interests & likings & decide on a right selection of career.

Maharaja Agrasen Model School, CD Block, Pitampura had an opportunity to arrange for an English Workshop headed by Ms. Shefali Ray from the Oxford University Press on 21st July, 2007. The eminent speaker began her discourse by introducing the different Avataras of the English vowels and also made the teachers aware of the Neutral English Pronunciation which is in use in the Indian scenario. She also emphasized on the correct usage of grammar structures and the correct positioning of words so as to understand, read and write to produce accuracy in the language.
It was also a juncture for the students of various classes to interact with the speaker where they were involved in many activities like correction of spellings and rearrangement of jumbled words to enhance neuro linguistic skills, comprehending a text by utilizing knowledge of language and the grammar and the context clues. A number of teachers from the adjoining schools attended the workshop.
The talk came to an end with a thanks-giving note.
